On Sunday 20th November fun was had by all at a family Star-Trekking event. Stars were made from card and sequins, black paper and tissue, wire and wool and even cookie dough. All generations were there – grandchildren through to grandparents – and many amazing stars were made. Phil, our minister, then told us all a star-trekking story about some very strange wise men who went searching for the baby Jesus. The afternoon ended with a fabulous tea – all set out in beautiful star boxes – to which all of the Church were invited.
The stars are now on display in the stable at the Church as part of the decoration of the Church for Christmas – to remind us all to follow the star to the stable at Christmas.
